19th Century Townhouse | 21st Century Update

Naudain Street

A young couple hired Thunderchild Custom Builders to bring the first floor of their charming 19th century townhouse into the 21st century.  The home had been remodeled in the 1980’s, leaving behind some of the worst design trends of that decade.

We removed several interior walls, creating an open floor plan to let natural light flood through the space from both the front and rear windows. We worked with the clients to create several opportunities for hidden storage.

Some of the highlights of this project included beautiful kitchen cabinetry; use of two different materials – classic soapstone and modern quartz for the kitchen countertops; a waterfall edge for the kitchen island; gorgeous appliances from Fisher-Paykel appliances; and abundant hidden storage.
